Not a bad upgrade from his days of flying private in the NFL.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Gurley joined Trump for the trip to his home state. The former NFL star photographed alongside the president as they stepped off Air Force One at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta.

Trump held the rally at Dalton Municipal Airport.

He was there backing Senate candidate Mike Collins and gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson.

Yahoo reported:

Trump held a rally at Dalton Municipal Airport in northwest Georgia on Friday to promote Senate nominee Mike Collins, who is taking on Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff, and gubernatorial nominee Rick Jackson, who is facing former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.

The trip comes amid divisions within the Georgia GOP, according to the Associated Press. Collins beat former college football coach Derek Dooley in a June runoff, and Gov. Brian Kemp didn’t endorse Collins until September. Kemp also skipped the rally, citing a family obligation.
